QUADCROSS MX PRO LITE & MONSTER ENERGY KAWASAKI DO IT AGAIN AT STEEL CITY
The debut of the new ITP QuadCross MX PRO Lite tire could not be going better. For the second event in a row, a Kawasaki Monster Energy rider took these front and rear tires to an overall AMA ATV Motocross Championship victory. This time it was in the hands of Josh Creamer, who dominated both motos at Steel City Raceway in Delmont, Pennsylvania, round six of the 2009 series. It was Creamer's first overall win as a Pro.
Finishing second overall with two come-from-behind 2-4 scores was teammate Chad Wienen, the winner of the previous round and the top qualifier at Steel City. Like Creamer, Wienen was using front and rear QuadCross MX PRO Lites on his Kawasaki KFX450. The tires proved to be the hot setup for both the dry track in the first moto and the muddy surface in the second.
With its dramatically lighter weight, advanced carcass design and high-tech rubber compound, the new ITP QuadCross MX PRO Lite is indeed proving to be the next big step in race tire performance. The QuadCross MX PRO Lite is now available in 20x6-10 front (P/N 560554) and 18x10-8 rear (P/N 560533) sizes. You can find them at ITP's trackside support area at all the events on the AMA ATV Motocross Championship Series, ITP/Yamaha QuadCross Series and World Off-Road Championship Series schedules. Of course you'll find them at your favorite ATV parts source as well — we sell what we race!
